MARUI VSR10 GSPEC

Marui released this third variant of G-Spec series just week ago and we are somewhat surprised how handy this new package is.
To start with the new features, outer barrel has been shortened and silencer attachment threads have been installed to allow installation of silencer without modification part.

Bolt-action handle is the much-mentioned ”G-SPEC” standard and it has been apparently designed to allow faster reloading time. It definitely looks futuristic, but I would not say that is issue since the whole VSR-10 series is fictional. Another major change is the trigger, which has been lengthened and repositioned more towards the front.
Standard Marui VSR mount base is included and sling swivels are now issued as standard.

Silencer is of previously unseen type and is titled as ”G-SPEC Silencer”. It fits straight to the barrel threads and muffles the already quiet VSR-10 to the point that it is impossible to hear the firing sound in gaming situation. Even in completely quiet area you can’t hear the firing sound to more than several meters away. This is nice addition to the package and certainly helpful for any beginner airsoft sniper.
When it comes to the practical performance you can shoot effectively up to 40 meters in stock condition and with decent numbers of custom parts coming in this can be soon improved. It is unknown at the moment how customization will affect this rifle, but as we know it has better hop up unit than most other sniper rifles out there and Marui has been advertising its tight inner barrel. Potential exists even for serious gamer’s sniper rifle.
